Key Responsibilities:

• Managing daily maintenance and operations to maintain optimal property conditions.
• Conducting routine inspections to ensure common areas meet safety and health regulations.
• Monitoring development projects to ensure they stay on schedule and meet standards.
• Addressing tenant and resident issues promptly and professionally.
• Developing strategies to prevent maintenance issues and ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.
• Collaborating with contractors on preventive measures and maintenance resolutions.
• Managing repair, renovation, and maintenance quotations, reports, and payments.
• Supporting and attending key meetings, such as council meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGMs).

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is great at communicating and can work well with teams, tenants, and contractors. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in a similar role, managing residential and/or mixed development properties. A Higher NITEC in Facilities Management, Real Estate Business, Hotel & Leisure Facilities Management, or equivalent qualifications is also required.

Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our property systems and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing vendors and contractors, overseeing solar power systems, and maintaining hydro farming facilities.

In this role, you will promote and support the integration of green technologies within the property and plan and execute periodic inspections to maintain high property standards.

You will also support the operations team with technical aspects of the properties and ensure all installations comply with local regulations and safety standards.

• Supervise maintenance and installation activities of property systems and facilities
• Ensure proper functioning and safety of mechanical, electrical, and civil components
• Manage vendors and contractors for upkeep of sports facilities, façades, and landscaped areas
• Support or lead minor development projects (e.g., EV charger installation, solar panel installation, façade repainting)
• Coordinate timelines, budgets, and contractor deliverables for project success
• Oversee solar power systems including monitoring output, maintenance scheduling, and issue resolution
• Manage and maintain hydro farming facilities, ensuring environmental compliance and productivity
• Promote and support the integration of green technologies within the property
• Plan and execute periodic inspections to maintain high property standards
• Support the operations team with technical aspects of the properties
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance works, warranties, utilities, and contractor performance
• Evaluate and report on overall facility operations and recommend improvements as needed

Requirements:

• Min Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management or similar
• Minimum 2 years' experience in M&E
• Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
