- Ensure all 4 pool entry gates at the 50-metre pool and 1 gate at the infant pool are locked when unsupervised by a PE teacher or coach.
- Maintain vigilant supervision of all students in and around the pools, remaining alert to potential risks and hazards.
- Conduct student headcounts at the start and end of every aquatics session.
- Clear the pool of all students at the conclusion of each session.
- Prevent students from entering the pool before a PE teacher or coach is present.
- Inspect tiles visually after kayak sessions; report and close lanes immediately if damage is identified.
- Enforce pool and diving board rules, and remind swimmers of safety practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and mitigate hazards.
