• Clean, wash, sweep, mop, dust and vacuum assigned school facilities (e.g. classrooms, offices, multipurpose halls, carpets, windows, walls, furniture, sinks, drinking fountains, etc.) to maintain a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.
• Clean and sanitise toilet facilities and Nurse Room.
• Arrange tables, chairs, desks, etc. to provide adequate preparation for the classroom activities and events.
• Empty and clean garbage bins, remove trash, etc. to allocated disposal points.
• Respond to immediate safety and / or operational concerns for the purpose of taking appropriate action to resolve immediate safety.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Ensure that all chemicals are securely stored away when not in use.
• Clean and tidy cleaning materials and equipment storage areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Ensure Supervisor is aware of low stock levels of supplies and equipment (eg cleaning solutions, toiletries, mops, trash bags, etc.).
• Inform the Supervisor of any defects found in the areas that the Cleaner is assigned to.

• Able to work indepently and also in a team
• Good time management
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures

Campus Cleaner

Requirements:

• Have 1-2 years' proven experience working as a school cleaner or relevant experiences.
• Required to work full time from Monday-Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) with 1 hour break time.

Job Descriptions:

• All aspects of cleaning duties.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors daily.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, tables and other fixtures.
• Ensure that the common space and dining area are clean daily.
• Ensure daily cleaning and sanitation take place.
• Empty trash bin daily.
• Cleaning windows daily.
• Ensuring and in compliance with NEA on daily environmental sanitation requirements of all school areas to be cleaned with no dust.
• Other maintenance duties such as screwing the loose tables and chairs etc.
• Any other duties as required.
