About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Design Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our design engineering group, you will assist senior engineers in designing and developing new products, manage machine loading documentation, and maintain design documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Design Support: Assist Design Engineers in design work and development, ensuring timely completion of projects and meeting quality standards.
- Documentation Management: Prepare and manage machine loading documentation using Excel, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Design Documentation: Upload and maintain design documentation to Windchill system, ensuring seamless access for all stakeholders.
- Customization and Design: Design of jigs and fixtures customization using 3D CAD software (CREO), generating detailed engineering drawing documents that meet specifications.
- Reviews and Improvement: Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (preferably CREO) and Microsoft Excel, with keen interest in mechanical design.
- Teamwork and Communication: Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively across departments, fostering collaboration and driving results.
- Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented, proactive approach to problem-solving, and eager to learn and grow, with ability to understand and translate between English and Chinese technical documents.
